OMSI/SOLVE Riverbank Volunteer Clean-up Event on Presidents Day, February 18th

Volunteer Event Description:

Join OMSI and SOLVE for a three-hour Presidents day volunteer event held on Monday, February 18th from 9:00am-1pm at OMSI. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help OMSI improve the natural habitat of their Willamette Riverbank property by removing invasive vegetation and re-establish native plants. Coffee and lunch will be provided and volunteers are encouraged to dress for rain or shine.

Event Schedule:

• 9:00am-9:30am – Volunteers arrive, check-in, coffee served in the OMSI Auditorium
• 9:30-9:45/10am – Orientation from SOLVE at riverbank restoration site
• 10-12:30pm – Planting & clean-up along OMSI Riverbank
• 12:30-1:00 – Lunch and depart
