Assistance League of Greater Portland located at 4000 SW 117th Ave., Beaverton, Oregon www.portland.assistanceleague.org, has been serving the greater Portland area since 1961. Our local community service programs benefit children and victims of violence. Our hallmark program Operation School Bell provides new clothing for qualified students in Beaverton & Hillsboro School Districts and Portland Schools. We offer a scholarship through Portland Community College for students pursuing a trade school education. Our programs are funded by operating Assistance League Thrift and Consignment Shops, through grants, special events and donations. Our shops have high quality resale items including women's and men's clothing, housewares, jewelry, furniture and more. We accept donations during our shop hours Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Our organization is totally volunteer driven and new member volunteers are always welcomed.
