ReClaim It! is a nonprofit arts and reuse retail store that salvages materials from the "dump" (Metro Transfer Station operated by Recology) for artists, neighbors, and DIYers to Reuse, Repair, and Reimagine.

What do volunteers sign up for at ReClaim It?

Generally volunteer shifts are available to help out when the store is open Weds-Sun between 10:00 am -5:00 pm and at work parties (store closed to customers) Mondays 10:00 am-2:00 pm or by special arrangement.  

Our volunteers source and stock a one of a kind volunteer run store with many unique finds that have been removed from the waste stream.  We have rescued over 500,000 lbs of rescued re-usable materials that had been thrown away since we opened up ReClaim It!

At the store, volunteers spend time cleaning and fixing items, and helping out by arranging items, creating DIY demo items, and being a friendly face helping customers at our  re-sale store. Future opportunities include the chance to glean items from the dump or help with other special projects & events!
