Virginia Woof Dog Daycare is a nationally-recognized job training program for homeless youth at Outside In. Volunteers serve as a mentor and role model for youth clients and assist with a variety of duties including registering dog clients, tending to the welfare of the dogs, picking up after the dogs, answering questions for customers and assisting with dog activities.
Volunteers must be:
- 18 years or older
- available for a 4-hr shift once a week
- able to commit to 6 months or 100 hours of volunteering

Outside In helps homeless youth and other marginalized people move towards improved health and self-sufficiency. Through education, employment training, housing, and healthcare services, we start youth on a path to transform their lives, supporting them and helping them build the confidence and skills they need to enact positive change in their lives and in their communities.
