The Alzheimer's Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is the leading local organization fighting for longer, healthier lives by advancing Alzheimer's and dementia research, promoting brain health, and advocating for policy change.
We provide no-cost care and support resources, educational programs, support groups, brain health events, and other services for people in Oregon and Southwest Washington affected by Alzheimer's disease and all other dementias. Whether it’s offering support to anyone facing Alzheimer’s, advocating for the needs and rights of those facing dementia, or advancing critical research, we work toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure.
In Oregon, more than 79,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, and Washington exceeds 126,000 individuals. We need volunteers and advocates that want to help move our mission forward! Become an community educator and present on disease information in your community, start a support group for families and those impacted, or share your story and become an advocate!
