Who We Are We are a collection of community members, business owners, property owners, and residents who care about our downtown community and want to promote the historic preservation of downtown Beaverton and support its economic, physical, and social environment. Our Vision We see an active and vibrant downtown community 18 hours/day, from 6am to midnight. This community will be complete with bakeries, coffee shops, small shops, restaurants, wine bars, brew pubs, and entertainment venues.
How We Get There We use the Main Street 4-Point Approach, which is a strategy of economic development that has revitalized thousands of downtown communities across the nation. Basically, we blend four pieces together to make a complete puzzle: 1. Promotion: Event planning, social media, blog posting, etc.
2. Design: Historic preservation, landscaping, public art, etc.
3. Economics: Business networking, business training, mobility/accessibility
4. Organization: Fundraising, volunteer management, policy development
