Imagine Possibilities Center serves youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We were founded in 1959 as the first school in our community for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This was at a time when children with disabilities were not permitted to attend public school and human rights for those with disabilities were systemically violated. We now serve adults as well as youth and offer a variety of services, including horticulture therapy, music therapy, yoga therapy, art, employment services, life skills groups, and cooking club. This year is our 60th anniversary of providing thoughtful and enriching services and programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
