Lift Urban Portland

Our mission is to reduce hunger and improve the lives of low-income residents of Northwest and Downtown Portland. As a top-tier partner of Oregon Food Bank, we collect fresh, nutritious food from community partners before it goes to waste and distribute it to our neighbors. We truly believe that food brings people together and this belief is foundational in the programs that we offer and in the way we conduct our services. In 2021, Lift UP distributed 528,194lbs of food to our Downtown/NW neighbors, 36% of which was produce. As of 2021, our food pantry also served over 9,000 Portland community members.
