Interested in Collaborating with the PCC Ready Bag Project?
In 2022, the PCC Ready Bags & Community Resilience Project was started in order to try to increase earthquake readiness in the PCC community. You can read the whole story here!
We are hoping to expand the reach of our project by:
- collaborating with more faculty from across disciplines to engage their students in this topic
- including readiness for other local disasters like floods, wildfires, heat domes, etc.
Are you interested in collaborating with us?
We are looking for:
- Faculty: Instructors who would like to collaborate on a community-based learning project based on these events!
- We can help brainstorm projects/assignments that would be a good fit for your curriculum.
- Event Partners: Community orgs/groups and PCC partners who would like to join us in the following ways:
- Tabling and/or hosting a demonstration
- Tables and demonstrations should be focused on disaster preparedness or building community.
- We encourage tabling and demonstrations that focus on accessibility (multiple languages, disability awareness, and more!)
- Donations of Ready Bag Supplies/Materials
- Tabling and/or hosting a demonstration
Community is our most important resource!
